The last full day of my friend’s one-week visit we took the day to just chill out and enjoy the village. If you come to Placencia, you have to take some time to just wander around. The entire village is just one square mile and it’s basically impossible to get lost- find either one of the main drags, the street or the sidewalk, and you’ll know exactly where you are. You should take time to stroll both and admire the colorful houses, the handicrafts and original art work in the gift shops, the beauty of the beach and lagoon, the sights sounds and scents of the place!
My friends really enjoyed the Belizean breakfast at Wendy’s restaurant so they had to get their final fryjacks and such there. They picked out their souvenirs and we headed to the Placencia Beach Club to lounge around and have a Two-5’s beer. I’ve written about the PBC here before and again now that they’re the only place on the peninsula to have Two-5’s craft beer on draft. It’s a great place to spend a day with friends or a good book- comfortable loungers and lovely staff.
I had such a wonderful week reconnecting with my crew- I can’t wait for them to come back! We have so much more to explore in itty bitty Belize. Here is Jessy’s video recap of the week:
