Oh what fun! Egg hunts, games, prizes, swimming, and loads and loads of kids. The Placencia Beach Club did it again- they put on a wonderful and well-organized community event for our youth. Similar to the Trunk-o-Treat they hosted in October, the Easter Carnival was even bigger and better attended. Another village tradition has begun! Here’s how the day went.
Stations of Fun
Similar to the Trunk-Or-Treat, the Beach Club asked local volunteers and businesses to attend and run a station with an activity or game. There was baking soda and vinegar volcanos, an egg pond, and we facilitated a bunny hop broad jump contest that became fiercely competitive. All the kids got a card and if they visited each station and got it signed they could turn it in for a prize.

Egg Hunt Mayhem
They ran several egg hunts by age groups but every time I see an egg hunt with more than 4 children involved I feel like I’m only watching madness unfold.

Free Swim
As part of the special day, the Beach Club let everyone use their pool for free so after all the games were finished and we were all hyped up on candy you could join 100 screeching kids for a splash around. It was absolute anarchy but what fun!
